One of the advantages of living near the shores of one of the Great
Lakes is all the fresh and delicious fish and other lake fare that they
produce. I, unfortunately, can't stand seafood (or lakefood). So at
age 7, when my parents wanted to take me into a restaurant
called "The Angry Trout," it goes without saying that the trout wasn't
the only one angry. In fact, I hated (and still do) fish so much I
wouldn't even go inside for fear of seeing our slimy swimming friends
on a plate. Finally, after 20 minutes of negotiations, I was assured
that there would be something other than fish on the menu that I could
enjoy. It was the best baked potato I've ever had.
